The Rams placed Brewer (knee) on injured reserve Wednesday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Brewer is expected to be sidelined 4-to-6 weeks due to an MCL sprain that will require surgery, so his move to IR is merely transactional. In his absence, Oday Aboushi will likely assume the starting right guard role moving forward.
