The Steelers waived Nigh on Thursday, Joe Rutter of TribLive.com reports.
Nigh was let go to make room for Jaylen Samuels to come off the reserve/COVID-19 list. The undrafted rookie out of Auburn linked with the Steelers back in May, but he'll now need to search for a chance with another organization.
