The Eagles released Hester on Tuesday, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.
Hester spent the preseason with the Packers but was cut before Week 1. The 28-year-old hasn't played an NFL game since 2019 when he suited up in 15 contests for Washington, recording eight tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.
