Coach Mike Zimmer said Friday that Bower, who was placed on the non-football injury list, has an Achilles injury, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Bower sustained the injury while working out away from the team, according to Tomasson. A timetable for the reserve defensive end's recovery remains undisclosed.
