The Avalanche recalled Byram to the taxi squad Saturday.
Byram has completed his mandatory quarantine, and he'll travel with the team as it begins a four-game California road trip in Los Angeles on Tuesday. It's unclear if the 2019 fourth overall pick will make his NHL debut in the process, but many believe Byram is ready after posting five points for Team Canada at the IIHF World Junior Championship this year.
