Avalanche's Conor Timmins: Shuttled to minors

Timmins (upper body) was assigned to AHL Colorado on Wednesday, per CapFriendly.

Presumably, this move will allow Timmins to build up his conditioning while with the minor-league team. The 22-year-old blueliner has missed the last nine games with the injury. Once he's up to speed, he may rejoin the Avalanche's roster and compete for a third-pairing job.
