Regula was recalled by the Blackhawks on Tuesday, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Seth Jones (thumb) is expected to be sidelined for 3-4 weeks, so Regula is likely in for an extended stay with the big club. Regula's picked up two goals through four AHL appearances this season.
