Columbus has reportedly come to an agreement with the Golden Knights that will send the 24th overall pick in this year's entry draft and a prospect to Las Vegas to dissuade the new team from selecting Anderson, Joonas Korpisalo, Jack Johnson or David Savard in the upcoming expansion draft, Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch reports.

Anderson's offensive upside was on full display in 2016-17, as the 23-year-old winger potted 17 goals and notched 12 assists while skating in a limited role through 78 games. The 2012 fourth-round pick only averaged 12:01 of ice time last season, and if the Blue Jackets' willingness to send a first-round pick to Vegas to keep him on board is any indication of their confidence in the young power forward, he'll likely have an expanded role in 2017-18.
