Faulk (lower body) was activated from long-term injured reserve Monday.
In a corresponding move, Matt Kessel was assigned to AHL Springfield. Faulk is poised to return from a 12-game absence Tuesday against Winnipeg. He has accumulated two goals, 19 points, 90 shots on net, 77 blocked shots and 52 hits over 40 appearances this campaign.
