Canadiens' Mikhail Sergachev: Emergency recall

Sergachev was called up from the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL under emergency conditions Saturday, Amanda Stein of TSN 690 reports.

A highly touted prospect, Sergachev was called up with Alexei Emelin and Shea Weber dealing with lower-body injuries in addition to Jordie Benn's upper-body ailment. Andrei Markov also didn't travel to Detroit for the next game. The 18-year-old will be a sneaky play in daily formats if your provider ends up adding him to the player pool. He's fashioned 10 goals, 33 assists, and a plus-22 rating in 50 games with Windsor this year.
