Oshie is close to a deal that will have him return to Washington, J.J. Regan of CSN Mid Atlantic reports.
According to the report, John Shannon of Sportsnet was the first to report that a deal between the Caps and Oshie was "all but done." Oshie is coming off a career year, surpassing the 30-goal threshold for the first time in his career. His 33 goals were tied for the team high with Alex Ovechkin.
