Dowling inked a two-year, two-way contract with the Devils on Saturday.
Dowling notched 11 goals and 46 points in 56 games with AHL Abbotsford last season. He has contributed 18 points in 98 career NHL outings. The 32-year-old forward is likely to start 2023-24 in the minors.
