The Lightning recalled Volkov from AHL Syracuse on Friday.
Volkov will join the club for the upcoming two-game road trip this weekend and could draw in for the fifth time this season if either Ondrej Palat (undisclosed) or Patrick Maroon (undisclosed) can't play Saturday. However, Volkov shouldn't serve as much more than a DFS flier at this point.
