Schenn was added to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Blackhawks, per the NHL's official media site.
Schenn was called up from the taxi squad to take the spot of Jan Rutta (lower body). He should be a regular in the lineup while Rutta's hurt, but Schenn has a single assist in 16 games, so he's not a player to target for fantasy purposes.
