Shore (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
The Oilers have yet to release a timetable for Shore's return, but he'll miss Saturday's game versus the Flames at a minimum. The 27-year-old forward picked up nine points through 38 games with Edmonton last season.
