Oilers' Olivier Rodrigue: Dropped down to minors

Rodrigue was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Monday.

With Mike Smith (thumb) cleared to play, Rodrigue's services were no longer needed at the NHL level. Barring another injury for Smith or Mikko Koskinen, the 21-year-old Rodrigue should be expected to play the rest of his games in the minors this year.
