Zatkoff turned aside 35 of 37 shots in a 5-2 win over the Rangers in Game 1 on Wednesday.

Making just his second appearance since Feb. 20, Zatkoff was sharp when he needed to be in front of a rowdy Consol Energy Center. An unlikely starter, the 28-year-old got the call to open the playoffs in lieu of regular starter Marc-Andre Fleury and backup Matt Murray, who are both believed to be dealing with concussion-related issues. It's still unclear as to when Fleury and Murray will return, so Zatkoff could be in line to start again in Game 2 on Saturday. Meanwhile, at the other end of the rink, Henrik Lunqvist left the game after the first period and didn't return following an apparent eye injury, so look for updates regarding both teams' netminders as Saturday approaches.
