Per Predators' insider Alex Daugherty, Nashville coach Andrew Brunette said Thursday that Schenn (lower body) is still "a ways away" from returning to action.
Schenn was injured Opening Night and remains on injured reserve. The defenseman had four hits in 15:11 of action against the Lightning. Schenn recorded four goals and 22 points in 70 games last season, split between Vancouver and Toronto.
