Miller notched two assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Blue Jackets.

The 29-year-old is quietly off to a strong start to the season for the Sabres. Miller has two goals and six points in his last eight games, and while he's only topped 29 points once in his career -- a 10-goal, 41-point campaign for the Golden Knights in 2017-18 -- he's well ahead of the scoring pace that saw his manage only five goals and 23 points in 99 games during his first two years with Buffalo.
