Kelly will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Friday for an illegal check to the head he delivered on LA's Andreas Englund during Thursday's loss to the Kings.
Kelly was given a two-minute minor penalty for the hit. Englund wasn't injured on the play, and it remains to be seen if Kelly will face any supplementary discipline for the infraction.
