Labanc (upper body) took part in the pregame warmups, but he won't return for Friday's contest against Montreal, per the NHL media site.
Labanc appears to be very close to playing, but he'll nevertheless miss his second straight game. He has two assists, 13 hits and four blocks in 13 appearances this season. With Labanc not quite ready to return, Jacob MacDonald will remain in the lineup Friday.
