Blue skies above Detroit's Comerica Park prior to Game 4 of the ALCS.

DETROIT -- In the interest of not burying the lede, we'll first run down the Yankees' lineup for Game 4 ...

1. Ichiro Suzuki, LF
2. Nick Swisher, RF
3. Robinson Cano, 2B
4. Mark Teixeira, 1B
5. Raul Ibanez, DH
6. Eric Chavez, 3B
7. Russell Martin, C
8. Brett Gardner, CF
9. Eduardo Nunez, SS
CC Sabathia, P

Obviously, the story is that Alex Rodriguez remains on the bench, and Curtis Granderson joins him there. Nick Swisher returns to right field after being benched in Game 3.

And here's Detroit's ...

1. Austin Jackson, CF
2. Omar Infante, 2B
3. Miguel Cabrera, 3B
4. Prince Fielder, 1B
5. Delmon Young, DH
6. Jhonny Peralta, SS
7. Andy Dirks, LF
8. Avisail Garcia, RF
9. Gerald Laird, C
Max Scherzer, P

That's Jim Leyland's standard lineup against lefties. As noted in our Game 4 preview, Gerald Laird has absolutely owned Sabathia (albeit across a limited sample of plate appearances). It will be interesting to see if that continues.

As for weather, CBS Detroit forecasts temps in the low 60s by game time. More importantly, the chance of rain rises to 60 percent by 11 p.m. ET.
