The Chicago White Sox kicked off a major rebuild this winter by trading Chris Sale to the Red Sox and Adam Eaton to the Nationals. It's only a matter of time until others like Jose Quintana, David Robertson and Todd Frazier are moved as well.

Right now, none of the prospects acquired in the Sale and Eaton trades are on the White Sox's MLB roster. They're all still in the minors. One of them, right-hander Lucas Giolito, tossed a seven-inning no-hitter in Triple-A on Thursday. Here's the final out:

Thursday's game was the first part of a doubleheader, which is why they played only seven innings. In the minors they play two seven-inning games during doubleheaders.

Giolito struck out three and walked three in Thursday's no-hit effort. He now has a 5.44 ERA with 43 strikeouts and 25 walks in 46 1/3 innings this season. Not the best numbers, but Giolito is something of a project. He and the White Sox are working to correct some lingering mechanical issues.

The team can afford to be patient with Giolito, of course. Winning isn't the priority on Chicago's South Side right now.
