Meanwhile, the stars were brightly shining for Chicago in a 119-107 win over Detroit on Saturday. Zach LaVine was the offensive standout for Chicago, shooting 5-for-7 from downtown and finishing with 33 points, five assists and five boards.

LaVine is averaging 23.5 points on 43.6 percent shooting. Lauri Markkanen ranks second on the team with 14.8 points per game, and he has made 18 of 30 shots over his past two games.  

Chicago got away with a 110-109 win when the two teams met in February.
