Heading into Friday's matchup between the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers, Hassan Whiteside offered up his own personal scouting report on DeAndre Jordan, which was more of a criticism than anything else. Whiteside showed a lack of knowledge about Jordan's overall game with his comments and perhaps should be paying more attention to the Heat's scouting report on the Clippers' center.

Jordan though, actually kind of agreed with Whiteside's assessment that all he does is catch lobs:

Jordan's response to Whiteside is humorous, but he is right, of course. He has been named All-NBA First Team and All-Defensive First Team. Jordan also is part of USA Basketball and won a gold medal in the Rio Olympics this past summer. He is one of the best centers in the game, especially on the defensive end. And while his offensive game revolves being close to the basket, that is Jordan's role on the Clippers and he excels at it.

Perhaps not wanting to light a fire under Jordan before their matchup, Whiteside clarified his comments before the game, telling reporters that he is friends with the Clippers center and "would never diss another big fella."

Whiteside said he plans on telling Jordan before the game what he exactly meant with his comment -- how they are simply different players on offense. But if Jordan is a bit more physical and energetic against Whiteside, than the Heat center should know that his criticism didn't fall on deaf ears.
