The Clippers were not the only team in California upset about the fact that the Jazz won Game 7 Sunday at Staples Center.

The Warriors also wished the Clippers had won their first-round series against the Jazz, but not because of anything to do with the potential on-court matchup. Actually, the reasoning had everything to do with off-court factors, as the Warriors would have much preferred to spend their off days on the road in Los Angeles instead of Salt Lake City. Via ESPN:

"The problem with Utah is that you're just sitting there and your mind is like dead, because in L.A. you still got energy for the game," Iguodala said. "Because you're in L.A., you're like, 'Man, this is just the vibe in L.A.' but in Utah, it can kind of lull you to sleep. And then you've slept too long or I'm bored out of my mind and now you got to try to pump yourself up for the game. You know you're in the playoffs and you're supposed to be pumped anyway, but the vibe is just like, 'Man, let's just get out of here.'"

That's pretty fair reasoning, and no one is going to argue that Salt Lake City has more entertainment options than Los Angeles. But luckily, the Warriors now have an option for their off days in Utah, as Joe Ingles has generously offered to pay for a car to take the Dubs to Las Vegas so they can have some fun.

This is a pretty awesome response from Ingles.

We've seen his versatile skills on the court, but apparently we need to add comedy to his list of attributes.
