  • Trail Blazers' Joe Ingles: Knee surgery completed

Ingles underwent successful reconstructive ACL surgery on his left knee Wednesday.

Ingles initially hurt his knee Jan. 30 while playing with the Jazz and was diagnosed with the season-ending injury one day later. Utah then traded him to Portland on Feb. 9, with his expiring contract representing most of his appeal to the Trail Blazers. Given the timing of his injury along with the recovery timeline associated with ACL tears, Ingles is likely to miss the majority of the 2022-23 season, if not all of it. Portland will presumably allow Ingles to complete his rehab program on his own before he becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer.

  • Trail Blazers' Joe Ingles: Traded to Portland

Ingles (knee) was traded to Portland on Wednesday, along with Elijah Hughes and a second-round pick, as part of a three-team trade involving the Jazz and Spurs, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Ingles tore his ACL at the end of January and is done for the season, so he's included in the deal solely for salary purposes. Set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, the veteran is unlikely to ever suit up for the Blazers.

  • Jazz's Joe Ingles: Tears ACL, done for season

Ingles was diagnosed Monday with a season-ending torn ACL after he suffered the non-contact left knee injury in Sunday's 126-106 loss to the Timberwolves, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

The Jazz were bracing for bad news after Ingles required assistance off the court Sunday, and the MRI confirmed the team's worst fears. After finishing as the runner-up to teammate Jordan Clarkson in the NBA's Sixth Man Award balloting a year ago, Ingles had taken a step back this season before suffering the knee injury, averaging 7.2 points, 3.5 assists and 2.9 rebounds in 24.9 minutes. He was also shooting a career-worst 34.7 percent from beyond the arc. Even so, his absence for the remainder of the season is a major blow to the Jazz's depth, as the team will now have to rely more heavily on the likes of Trent Forrest, Danuel House (COVID-19 protocols) and Jared Butler to fill minutes on the wing. According to Wojnarowski, Ingles is expected to undergo surgery within the next couple of weeks. Based on the timing of his procedure, Ingles -- who is ticketed for free agency this offseason -- is expected to miss a large portion of the 2022-23 season as well.

  • Jazz's Joe Ingles: Slated for MRI

Ingles (knee) will undergo an MRI on Monday, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports.

Ingles had to be helped off the court during Sunday's game against Minnesota after he sustained a non-contact knee injury. He was held scoreless (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt) with three rebounds and three assists in 12 minutes prior to his departure, and he'll be unable to return to the contest. A better idea of his status should be revealed based on the results of his MRI.

  • Jazz's Joe Ingles: Helped off with knee injury

Ingles was helped off the court during the second quarter of Sunday's game against Minnesota due to an apparent left knee injury, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.

Ingles' knee appeared to buckle on a drive to the basket, and he immediately fell to the ground in pain. A stretcher was initially brought out for the veteran, but he eventually got up under his own power and was helped to the locker room. Based on how the injury looked, Ingles could likely be facing an extended absence, but at this time nothing is official. With that said, it's safe to assume Ingles will not return to Sunday's game. Per the Jazz's official Twitter account, Ingles will undergo an MRI on the knee in Salt Lake City on Monday.

  • Jazz's Joe Ingles: Not on injury report

Ingles is not on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Suns.

The Jazz held Ingles out of Monday's game against the Suns due to a sprained ankle, but chances are it was simply a built-in rest night for the veteran. He'll be back in action Wednesday, but the Jazz will still be without Rudy Gobert (calf) and Donovan Mitchell (concussion).

  • Jazz's Joe Ingles: Won't play Monday

Ingles (ankle) is unavailable for Monday's game at Phoenix, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports.

Ingles was added to the injury report earlier Monday with an ankle sprain and will be unavailable after starting the previous three games. The Jazz are missing most of their rotation pieces, so Jordan Clarkson, Trent Forrest and Danuel House should see most of the backcourt work Monday.

  • Jazz's Joe Ingles: Latest addition to injury report

Ingles is listed as questionable for Monday's game at Phoenix due to a sprained right ankle.

This is the first we're hearing of the injury, which apparently occurred during Sunday night's narrow loss to the Warriors. Given the circumstances, it's very possible the Jazz may just give Ingles the night off, as Mike Conley (rest), Rudy Gobert (calf) and Donovan Mitchell (concussion) have already been ruled out. Meanwhile, Bojan Bogdanovic (finger) is also listed as questionable.
