The San Antonio Spurs could have three members of Argentina's national team on their roster next season. They are "actively lobbying" point guard Nicolas Laprovittola to come to the NBA, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

The Spurs, of course, already employ Argentinian legend Manu Ginobili. They also signed 23-year-old swingman Patricio Garino earlier this summer. Laprovittola, 26, spent last season split between Lietuvos Rytas and Estudiantes.

In six games at the Olympics in Rio, Laprovittola averaged 8.2 points, 2.7 assists and 2.2 rebounds. He could give San Antonio some extra point guard depth behind Tony Parker and Patty Mills, but it already has a full roster. Here's what the Spurs' depth chart looks like heading into training camp:

PG: Tony Parker, Patty Mills, Dejounte Murray, Ryan Arcidiacono

SG: Danny Green, Manu Ginobili

SF: Kawhi Leonard, Jonathon Simmons, Patricio Garino

PF: LaMarcus Aldridge, Kyle Anderson, David Lee, Davis Bertans, Livio Jean-Charles

C: Pau Gasol, Dewayne Dedmon

Two cuts would have to be made to make room for Laprovittola. Arcidiacono could easily one of them. Everybody else, though, was expected to make the team. It is unclear what the Spurs' plan is here.
