There was much more good than bad in Victor Oladipo's preseason debut with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. Against Real Madrid, Oladipo scored a game-high 34 points on 14-of-24 shooting, plus five assists, two rebounds, two steals and one nasty dunk over two defenders:

That sort of athleticism and aggression is hard to find. Opposing teams will not be used to dealing with both him and Russell Westbrook in the same backcourt, pushing the ball and getting into the paint over and over again.

The bad news: The Thunder lost this game. Westbrook played only 22 minutes, Steven Adams left after nine minutes because of a sprained right ankle and Real Madrid forced overtime after an intentionally missed free throw led to a buzzer-beater from Sergio Llull:

The final score was 142-137. The Thunder's exhibition schedule continues with a game against FC Barcelona on Wednesday.
