The San Francisco 49ers pass rush has been anchored by Nick Bosa, but they will have to manage the rest of their playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys without their star edge rusher. Bosa was ruled out by the 49ers with a concussion, which Bosa suffered in the first half after he ran into teammate D.J. Jones as he was falling to the ground when La'el Collins was blocking him.

Collins could have been called for a penalty by his block on Bosa -- he wasn't -- but the collision with Jones as Bosa was going down is what knocked him out of the game.

Bosa had already made his mark in the game, sacking Dak Prescott on the third play of the wild-card matchup and having three tackles with a quarterback hit. Bosa led the NFL in tackles for loss this season (21) with 15.5 sacks and 32 quarterback hits. Bosa and T.J. Watt were the only two players in the NFL to finish in the top four in sacks, quarterback hits, and tackles for loss on the year.

The 49ers won't have Bosa for the rest of this one, a significant blow to a top five defense in the league.
