Even before the Cowboys picked him with the fourth overall pick, Ezekiel Elliott made some headlines at the 2016 NFL Draft thanks to his unique outfit on the red carpet. Like everybody else, Elliott arrived at the draft wearing a suit. Unlike every other player though, Elliott was displaying a cut-off look as a throwback to his college football days at Ohio State.

A reminder of that outfit:

Well, not everyone approved of Elliott's outfit. And no, I'm not talking about fashion experts. Instead, it's Bears linebacker Lamarr Houston who disapproved. Houston even called the half-shirt "disrespectful."

"That's one topic that has me irate," Houston told ESPN's SportsNation. "I think it's kind of disrespectful. The half-shirt at the draft? I mean, this is a traditional thing."

"Disrespectful to whom, though?" Michelle Beadle asked.

"Everybody's who's ever been there," Houston explained, adding that he hates wearing suits and still dressed up when he attended the draft.

For what it's worth, Houston also called Aaron Rodgers "arrogant" during that interview, so maybe he was just in a combative mood. Regardless, both Rodgers and Elliott will have their chances to see Houston on the field. The Bears, per usual, will play the Packers twice, and they'll travel to Dallas on Sept. 25.

Though the Bears rebuilt their defense this offseason, they surrendered nearly 121 rushing yards per game a year ago. So, it might not be the best idea for Houston to criticize a running back who will have the luxury of running behind one of the league's top offensive lines next season.
