Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Continues to work behind Stevenson
Elliott logged 22 of a possible 55 snaps on offense in Sunday's 38-3 loss to the Cowboys, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
In the process, Elliott carried six times for 16 yards and caught two of his three targets for six yards. There had been some pre-game speculation that Elliott (who carried 16 times for 80 yards in Week 3) could be in line to see an expanded workload Sunday against his former team, but fellow RB Rhamondre Stevenson started the contest and was on the field for 35 snaps en route to rushing 14 times for 30 yards while adding two receptions (on three targets) for 10 yards. Looking ahead, the Patriots offense will look to regroup in Week 5 against the Saints, but as long as Elliott continues to work behind Stevenson, he'll remain a hit-or-miss fantasy option.

Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Expected to see more work Sunday
Elliott is expected to see an increased role in the Patriots' backfield Sunday against the Cowboys, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
In the Patriots' Week 3 win over the Jets, Elliott logged 27 snaps and 16 carries for 80 yards, while Rhamondre Stevenson recorded 47 snaps and 19 carries for 59 yards. This time around, Rapoport suggests that Elliott could log "starter reps" versus his former team, though it's unclear if that means he'll take New England's first RB snap or if he'll simply be in line to see an uptick in touches in Week 4.

Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Gets season-high 16 carries
Elliott rushed 16 times for 80 yards and caught his only target for seven yards in Sunday's 15-10 win over the Jets.
After rushing just 12 times for 42 yards across his first two games with the Patriots, Elliott topped both of those marks as New England went run-heavy in a defensive battle. He had three fewer carries than Rhamondre Stevenson but 21 more yards on the ground. Elliott will have plenty of motivation in Week 4 when the Patriots travel to Dallas to face his former team, but he'll likely remain limited to a complementary role behind Stevenson.
