Even though Super Bowl LV took place in their stadium, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers technically did not play a home game last postseason. That did not faze them, however, as they went on to win their second championship in franchise history, scoring 30 or more points in each of their four victories. Tom Brady finally will play a home playoff game with the NFC South-champion Buccaneers on Sunday when they host the Philadelphia Eagles (9-8) in a 2022 Super Wild Card Weekend contest.

Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium is set for 1 p.m. ET. Tampa Bay is a seven-point favorite in the latest Buccaneers vs. Eagles odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 47. Why the Buccaneers can cover

Tampa Bay was third in the NFL in scoring last season with 492 points and moved up a spot in 2021, recording 511 during the league's first 17-game campaign. The club was held under 20 points only three times and produced 30 or more in 10 contests, including six of its final eight. The Buccaneers ranked second in total offense (405.9 yards) and were first in passing, averaging 307.6 yards per game.

Brady set the NFL single-season record with 485 completions and registered a career-high 5,316 passing yards, the third-most in a campaign in league history. The 44-year-old future Hall-of-Famer also led the NFL with 43 touchdown passes, marking the second straight year and third time in his career he threw at least 40. Brady had three or more TD tosses in eight games and passed for at least 300 yards on nine occasions, falling three shy of another in Tampa Bay's 28-22 victory at Philadelphia in Week 6.

Why the Eagles can cover

Philadelphia suffered a 28-22 loss at home against Tampa Bay in Week 6 of the regular season, but can be encouraged by how it finished the game. The Eagles trailed by 21 points late in the third quarter, but cut the deficit to six with just under six minutes remaining in the fourth before the Buccaneers were able to run out the clock. Jalen Hurts had a hand in all three of Philadelphia's touchdowns in the game, throwing for one score while running for the other two.

Hurts' greatest asset is his ability to run, which he proved by leading the Eagles and finishing sixth in the NFL with 10 rushing touchdowns during the regular season. In addition, the 23-year-old topped the team with 784 yards on the ground, helping Philadelphia produce the league's top-ranked ground attack (159.7 yards). Hurts also used his legs to escape the grasp of opposing defenders and was sacked only 25 times, the fourth-fewest in the NFL.
