Week 1 NFL picks for Titans vs. Cardinals

Before you tune in to Sunday's Cardinals vs. Titans game, you need to see the NFL picks from SportsLine's advanced computer model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up almost $7,900 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six years ago. It went a sizzling 24-14 on top-rated NFL picks last season, returning more than $800. The model also enters the 2021 season on an incredible 120-78 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the Top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

For Titans vs. Cardinals, the model is backing the under (53.5) to hit with room to spare. The model is predicting both teams to combine for 49 total points, resulting in the under hitting in over 60 percent of simulations.

Tennessee's offense revolves around running back Derrick Henry. The former Alabama standout led the league with 2,027 rushing yards in 2020, becoming just the eighth running back to eclipse 2,000 yards in a single season. Henry helped Tennessee's offense average 396.4 yards per game last season, which tied for second in the NFL.

Arizona also features a potent rushing attack, which averaged 139.8 rushing yards per game last season. Quarterback Kyler Murray was Arizona's second leading rusher in 2020, averaging 6.2 yards per carry while scoring 11 rushing touchdowns. Both teams will be eager to establish the ground game early on Sunday, which will keep the clock running.

The model has also taken into account that the total has gone under in 11 of Arizona's last 13 games played in September. In addition, the total has gone under in two of the last three meetings between these two teams.
