Way back in 2002, Derek Carr's brother, David, was drafted No. 1 overall by the Houston Texans. But David only lasted five years as a starting quarterback before getting knocked out of Houston. Impressively, he was sacked 249 times during his tenure, so he was quite literally knocked out of town.
I'm only bringing up David because his brother, Derek, seems to have learned a valuable lesson from David's NFL experience. Derek seemingly realized that a solid offensive line can be hard to find, so he showed how much he appreciates their protection.
On Tuesday, Derek bought 55-inch flat-screen TVs for the entire Raiders offensive line.
Lots of happy o-linemen in the house today. DC bought them all 55" flat screens. #Raiders

This season, Derek Carr has been sacked just 19 times. David Carr was sacked 49.8 times per season as a member of the Texans.
There's a Carr-crash pun around here somewhere.
