Who's Playing

Tennessee @ New England

Current Records: Tennessee 8-3; New England 7-4

What to Know

The New England Patriots will look to defend their home turf Sunday against the Tennessee Titans at 1 p.m. ET. The Patriots have a defense that allows only 16.09 points per game, so Tennessee's offense will have their work cut out for them.

New England kept a clean sheet against the Atlanta Falcons last week and took the game 25 to nothing. No one had a standout game offensively for New England, but WR Nelson Agholor led the way with one touchdown. QB Mac Jones ended up with a passer rating of 156.50.

New England's defense was a presence, holding Atlanta to a paltry 165 yards. The defense collected four interceptions. Those interceptions were spread across the Patriots' defensive unit.

Meanwhile, the Titans came up short against the Houston Texans last week, falling 22-13. Despite 230 more yards than Houston, Tennessee could not convert that extra yardage to scores. QB Ryan Tannehill had a memorable game, but not in the way you want to be remembered: despite one touchdown, he threw four interceptions.

New England is the favorite in this one, with an expected 7-point margin of victory. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a five-game streak of ATS wins.

New England's victory lifted them to 7-4 while Tennessee's loss dropped them down to 8-3. Giving up five turnovers, Tennessee had had trouble holding onto the ball. We'll see if New England can exploit that vulnerability.
