The Los Angeles Rams offense just got better. On Thursday, the Rams announced that Odell Beckham Jr. signed a one-year deal with the team. Beckham was reportedly on the fence between signing with the Rams or Packers, but ultimately chose to take his talents to the NFC West squad.
OBJ reportedly wanted to go to a playoff-caliber team and his wish has been granted. The Rams currently sit at 7-2 and are in second place behind the 8-1 Cardinals.
Beckham was released by the Browns, who he joined in 2019, earlier this month after some drama with the team and comments from his father about Baker Mayfield's quarterback ability, or lack thereof.According to CBS Sports sport data scientist Stephen Oh, the Rams' chances at winning the Super Bowl went from 11.1 to 11.5 percent with the signing.
OBJ was trending immediately and athletes and fans had a lot to say. Let's take a look at some of the best reactions.
