This NFL season has not been an easy one for the Silver & Black. Still, the Las Vegas Raiders are 6-5 and are very much alive in the AFC West. But whether or not they win their division or make the playoffs may likely come down to simple chance.
On Reddit's Raiders subreddit, user u/pongislame posted at the beginning of the season that he had flipped a coin for every Raiders regular season game in order to make a prediction for the campaign.
So far, the coin flip is a perfect 11-0. It has correctly predicted the outcome of every Raiders game. According to Fansided, "the odds of the coin correctly predicting the first 12 games is 1 in 2,048. That's a 0.05% chance."
The coin came most recently on Thanksgiving, as the Raiders upset the Dallas Cowboys in overtime to earn a 36-33 victory that snapped a three-game losing streak and put them back in the hunt for a playoff spot in the AFC.

The coin has quickly become notorious among Raiders fans online, with phrases such as "All Hail the Coin" and a cartoon picture of the coin being worshiped at a temple popping up.
The Silver & Black entered their Thanksgiving matchup on the verge of going into freefall after three-straight losses off their bye Week. The Raiders made a resounding bounceback on a short week, going toe-to-toe with the Cowboys before beating them in overtime with a 29-yard field goal by Daniel Carlson.
The Raiders' victory was led by quarterback Derek Carr, who broke out of a recent slump to complete 24 of 39 passes for 373 yards and a touchdown.
"Derek is his biggest critic. ... He's been off sync a little bit; we've all been off sync. Today he looked like Derek Carr," Raiders interim head coach Rich Bisaccia said in a report by Paul Gutierrez of ESPN. "It's fun to watch him play."
The Raiders will try and continue their push for the AFC West title with a game against the Washington Football Team.
