The Vikings want to keep Adrian Peterson in Minnesota. Peterson and his camp want out. That's been established for a while. It doesn't appear there's much of a chance for the two sides to find common ground either.

According to a report from Yahoo! Sports, Vikings general manager Rick Spielman requested to meet with Peterson's agent Ben Dogra for dinner at the upcoming owners meetings. Dogra, however, declined to do so.

Peterson's camp, per the report, would like the running back to be traded or offered more guaranteed money with the Vikings. With his workout bonus included, Peterson is expected to earn $13 million in 2015.

Peterson is under contract through 2017. The Cardinals are reportedly open to trading a second-rounder to the Vikings for Peterson, and would consider working out a new contract.
