The New England Patriots are about to find out if having two Gronkowskis on the roster is better than having one.

The team announced on Saturday that Glenn Gronkowski has been added to the practice squad. The move comes 12 days after the Patriots had Baby Gronk in for a workout. Apparently, coach Bill Belichick liked what he saw in the youngest Gronkowski brother.

Of course, it's also possible that Belichick just added Baby Gronk as a way to play a diabolical mind game with Bills coach Rex Ryan. The Patriots play the Bills on Sunday, which also happens to be the last team that Glenn Gronkowski played for.

After going undrafted in April, the former Kansas State fullback signed a free-agent contract with the Bills. Baby Gronk then spent four months in Buffalo and actually made the team's 53-man roster before being cut on Sept. 12 following the Bills' season-opening loss to the Ravens. Glenn played just eight snaps in that game.

The youngest Gronk brother was actually asked about the possibility of being Rob's teammate during a pre-draft workout back in January.

"That would be awesome," Baby Gronk said, via ESPN.com. "I've actually never played with any of my brothers before. They've always been too old for me. ... Everyone else has played together, so to be on the same team, that would be a dream come true."

As for the Patriots, they're now one step closer to their goal of signing every Gronkowski brother at least once. The team also signed Dan Gronkowski for five games in 2011. That leaves Chris and Gordie Jr. as the only Gronkowski brothers who haven't signed a contract with the Patriots.

Anyway, the Patriots also made two other roster moves on Saturday. The addition of Baby Gronk meant the team had to drop a player from the practice squad and that player turned out to be Da'Ron Brown.

The Patriots also added tight end Gregg Scruggs to their 53-man roster. To make room for Scruggs, New England released defensive lineman John Hughes.
