The New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams, 26-10, on Sunday afternoon. The Patriots' starting quarterback for the game was a guy by the name of Tom Brady, whose name you may have heard once or twice if you've watched any professional football during the last decade and a half.

The win was the 179th of Brady's regular-season career. Combined with his 22 playoff wins, it pushed Brady to 201 combined wins as a starter.

Entering this week, Brady was in a tie at 200 combined wins with his chief career rival, Peyton Manning, who is the only other player in NFL history with 200 combined regular-season and postseason wins. Going from 200 to 201 broke the tie, meaning that Brady now has sole possession of first place on the NFL's all-time wins list.

It was somewhat fitting that Brady accomplished the feat against the Rams, the team he led the Patriots to a victory over in his first Super Bowl all the way back in 2001. Members of that team were actually honored at Sunday's game, as this year is the 15th anniversary of the Pats' first championship in franchise history.

Brady, as he usually does, spread the ball around to many different receivers on the way to the win. Playing without Rob Gronkowski yet again, Brady connected with Julian Edelman, Malcolm Mitchell, Chris Hogan, James White, Dion Lewis, Danny Amendola, and Martellus Bennett for at least two catches apiece. It was an efficient, if not necessarily explosive performance, and it led the Pats to a win. Just the way they like it.
