Six days ago, Rex Ryan and the Bills defense drew up the perfect plan to take Rob Gronkowski out of the Patriots' offense, limiting him to 37 yards. The Broncos' defense did not copy the Bills plan, instead coming up with their own idea to shut him down on Sunday night. For some reason, the Broncos' plan involved leaving Gronk uncovered.
You can't do that on a snow day!!!

On the Patriots' first drive, Tom Brady and Gronk connected twice. One pass went for a first down and the other went for the game's first touchdown.
The coverage wasn't great on either play. As you can see below, the Broncos left Gronk in single coverage, with the defender playing far off him. Gronk made them pay.
Edelman out. Amendola out. Just throw it to Gronk and watch him do Gronk things. Touchdown. #GronkSpike #NEvsDEN https://t.co/Q8Gn9Er9kV

Still need more proof of Gronk's dominance? Here's a stat for you:
Rob Gronkowski just passed Shannon Sharpe on the all time TDs list. He now has more TDs than any TE currently in the Hall of Fame.

That's incredible. For the record, that touchdown was the 63rd of Gronk's career.
