The New York Rangers and New York Islanders took their rivalry to Yankee Stadium as part of the NHL's 2014 Stadium Series. It was the second game at one of baseball's great new palaces, only this time it came during the dark (and bitter cold) of night.
The Rangers took the game 2-1 on a late goal by Daniel Carcillo. It was another banner night for the NHL as more than 50,000 fans were on hand to witness the last of two games in the Bronx.
