Arizona vs. Utah odds, line: Picks, predictions from model on 64-52 roll
Our advanced computer model simulated Friday's Utah vs. Arizona game 10,000 times
The Pac-12 is up for grabs and two teams with hopes on taking the title clash Friday at 10 p.m. ET. The Utah Utes, coming off a resounding upset win over Stanford, host the Arizona Wildcats at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The Wildcats are still reveling in their 24-17 victory over California, which boosted their conference record to 2-1, just a half-game back of South Division leader Colorado. Utah opened as a 14-point home favorite and is laying 13.5 in the latest Arizona vs. Utah odds. The over-under, or total number of points Vegas believes will be scored, has held steady at 51.5.
Before you make any Arizona vs. Utah picks, check out what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say. The advanced computer model simulates every FBS game 10,000 times, and those who have followed it have seen massive returns. In the past three years, this proprietary computer model has generated a jaw-dropping $4,210 profit for $100 bettors.
The model made some huge calls in Week 6, including recommending Texas (+226) on the money line in its massive upset of No. 7 Oklahoma. It finished the week on an 8-2 run on all of its college football picks, and when it comes to top-rated picks, it is now an impressive 64-52 on the year. Anyone who has followed it is way up.
Now, the model has simulated Arizona vs. Utah 10,000 times to produce a strong against-the-spread pick that hits nearly 60 percent of the time. This pick is available only at SportsLine.
The model knows the Utes' confidence level is sky-high after its 40-21 thrashing of the Cardinal, who were playing without Heisman hopeful Bryce Love. Still, they were clicking on offense after back-to-back conference losses to Washington and Washington State. Quarterback Tyler Huntley was cool under pressure last week, completing 81 percent of his pass attempts for 199 yards and a touchdown.
Utah also has a strong ground game, led by star rusher Zack Moss, who gouged Stanford for 8 yards per carry. He also hit pay dirt twice in the first half, from 7 and 35 yards out.
But just because Utah is clicking on offense doesn't mean they'll cover Friday.
Arizona quarterback Khalil Tate is a dual threat in the backfield to throw or run. In 2018, he has 1,412 passing yards and 11 touchdowns. He has also picked up more than 100 ground yards, including 40 versus Cal.
Arizona running back J.J. Taylor has been sensational this season. He's at 600 yards, netting 5.8 yards per pop, and found the end zone three times. Backfield mate Gary Brightwell is also putting up strong numbers despite limited action. The sophomore rusher has amassed 305 yards on the ground.
Who wins Arizona vs. Utah? And which side covers nearly 60 percent of the time? Visit SportsLine now to see which side of the spread you need to jump on Friday, all from the computer model that has generated a jaw-dropping $4,210 profit for $100 bettors.
