Angels' Brandon Marsh: Added to 40-man roster

Marsh's contract was purchased by the Angels on Friday.

As the team's top prospect with Jo Adell no longer prospect eligible, Marsh was a lock to be protected from the Rule 5 draft. He is an outfielder by trade but started working a little at first base at the alternate training site in order to give himself more avenues to break through with the big club. Marsh figures to debut sometime during the 2021 season.
