Butera isn't starting Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader against the Twins, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Butera will retreat to the bench for the fourth time in the last six games as he continues to split time with Kurt Suzuki behind the dish. Suzuki will start at catcher and bat sixth.
