Gott cleared waivers and was outrighted to the Giants' alternate training site Tuesday, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Gott spent just a single day on the Giants' roster in mid-April before being designated for assignment. He'll remain with the organization as minor-league depth.
