Iwakuma (shoulder) allowed four runs on four hits and two walks over two innings in a rehab start for Triple-A Tacoma on Monday, Rainiers broadcaster Mike Curto reports.

The veteran right-hander particularly ran into trouble in the second, an inning in which he threw 32 pitches. With his overall pitch count up to 49 at the end of the first two frames, it appears Iwakuma was pulled due to ineffectiveness, as the plan had been for him to throw approximately 75 pitches. It remains to be seen whether Monday's unfavorable result will do anything to affect the previously announced plan to activate Iwakuma off the disabled list this coming weekend.
