Adon allowed two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out nine over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus Boston on Sunday.

The 23-year-old gave up a few too many baserunners, but he left the game in line for the win before Washington's bullpen gave up the lead. Adon logged a 4.97 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 122:40 K:BB across 105 innings across three different levels of the minors, although 17 of his 21 starts came at High-A Wilmington. He'll likely need more time at Triple-A Rochester to begin 2022, barring a standout performance in spring training.
