DeShields went 2-for-3 with a solo homer, a walk and another run scored Sunday against the Angels.
DeShields has provided terrific value at the top of Texas' order of late, scoring 16 runs and swiping nine bags in his past 17 games. This wasn't a strong game for him on the base paths, however, as DeShields was caught stealing for the sixth time in 34 tries on a first-inning pickoff.
